About Event

Mechanium is a national level technical symposium organised by Department of Mechanical Engineering, Nehru Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, a part of Nehru Group of Institutions. This provides platform for engineering students to showcase their brillance to the world. Both UG and PG students from all over India take part in this technical extravaganeza. Our certificates are been recoganised and valued by most companies across India. Mechanium'15 is conducted on 26th and 27th February in Jawahar Gardens, Nehru Institute of technology, Coimbatore. The Event is powered by many reputed MNCs. The events are conducted in two rounds starting with the prelims and ending up by final clash.Students can participate as group of two for all the events. The participants will be served with lunch. This annual techfest Participants are requested to bring their college id cards while attending the event. The events are CAD, Paper presentation, Tech Quiz, Drivers Bay, Slow Rider and Machinist. We heartly welcomes all of you to this events.

How to reach Nehru Institute of Technology, Coimbatore

Reach NIT : The NIT campus is 16 kilometers from Coimbatore Junction Railway Station. A. FROM COIMBATORE RAILWAY STATION: Go towards ukkadam -> kuniamuthur -> madukarai -> Salem ernakulam highway right -> ettimadai -> NIT B. FROM GANDHIPURAM: Go towards railway station and continue as above. C. FROM SINGANALLUR: Come straight in the Trichy road towards railway station and continue. D. FROM UKKADAM Bus Terminal: You can catch bus number 96 or 48 which will drop you off near to the Ettimadai.
